The Grand 13.5 km Eid al-Ghadeer Street Festival Draws Over 4.5 Million in Tehran
The annual Eid al-Ghadeer festival in Tehran, stretching along Azadi and Enghelab streets for 13.5 kilometers, has become the largest Shi‘i public celebration worldwide, attracting over 4.5 million people this year. Alongside this, the popular Ramadan TV program “Mahfel” continues to promote Quranic culture, reaching hundreds of millions globally with its broadcasts and live public events, including large gatherings at Imam Reza’s shrine and Azadi Stadium.
